The Town of Marshfield’s residents and visitors have been battling traffic congestion along Route 139, the principal arterial highway that runs through the Town. To provide relief, the Town is widening approximately 4000 feet of the roadway for which Tetra Tech Rizzo is providing engineering design, environmental permitting, and construction services. This project is part of a larger comprehensive corridor improvement program that will relieve traffic congestion by adding travel lanes and constructing new traffic signals. Improvements will also include enhancing pedestrian facilities with new ADA accessible sidewalks and ramps as well as visually upgrading the corridor with new lighting.
