On-call Environmental and
Engineering Contract

Client: Massachusetts Turnpike Authority

The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority owns and operates two of the Commonwealth’s major transportation systems: the Metropolitan Highway System and the Turnpike/Masspike. The Authority’s General Environmental Engineering Services contract is critical to continuing a state-of-the-art statewide transportation system. In particular, the Boston transportation system is an area that will require increased attention from the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority in the next decade due to the opening of the Central Artery and Third Harbor Tunnel. On-call task orders range from environmental compliance audits, spill prevention and countermeasure control plans to hazmat emergency response and planning to waste water discharge assessments.
